La Bachasse
La Bachasse, an ancient shepherd’s dwelling, is the name of a holiday resort consisting of 4 elegant flats situated on the terraced area of an old olive plantation and a spacious house for family.
1400 feet up in the Var valley, a fantastic panoramic view reaches beyond the Var valley to the deep blue of the Mediterranean see.
Situated very close to the cliff top village of Carros. Nice airport is at 20 minutes by car, cities and beaches at 30 minutes.
The Studio Apartments
Each flat is provided with its own access and private and sunny covered terraces and separate garden area.
A pool, 12m x 6m, and beautiful lawn to sunbath are also part of the property.
The 4 one-roomed flats are each comfortably fitted for 2 people, with a spacious living/bedroom, a bathroom and separate kitchen.
Each has superb, panoramic views to the mountains and the sea.
La Bergerie
The old “bergerie” (shepherd’s house), is tastefully furnished with antiques and artefacts.
It may receive 4 or 5 persons.
It comprises of a spacious living room, a well-equipped dining kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bath/shower rooms, a galleried landing, large terrace and the swimming pool.
Location
Carros village lies in the hills to the west of Nice and can be easily accessed from the A8 autoroute and the D6202.
Activities
This area offers :

village of Carros
with his XII century old castle, its little pedestrian streets, well kept houses, gift shop and restaurant.
From there you’ll get sweeping views down the Var River valley to the sea.
- Other surrounding towns to visit are Vence (15km) (
Matisse Chapel),
St Paul de Vence (
Maeght Foundation) (20km),
- and the natural reserve “
Parc du Mercantour”.
- Seaside and beaches on the Riviera are at 25km, Cannes (38km), Antibes.
